Separation Agreements

Often, matters that arise as a result of the divorce/separation can be resolved by negotiation through Counsel and the parties. Negotiations can occur many ways including: by way of letter between Counsel; discussions between the parties; or if the parties wish, by way of four-way meetings with both parties and their Counsel.

A Separation Agreement is a binding legal document that sets out how separated couples have agreed to settle their matters. The Agreement can include provisions setting out how the parties have agreed to settle any or all of the following issues: custody, parenting/access, child support, spousal support, property/asset division, life insurance, medical and dental benefits for spouses and children, sale or transfer or property, pension division, etc.

Counsel at Bombardieri Family Law have strong negotiation skills and work with opposing Counsel to ensure that their clients needs are met and that their current and future rights are protected. Our Team take the time to listen to our client’s wishes and provide our clients with the knowledge and tools they need to resolve their matters.
